Features for the 2880
Built Heavy. Built To Last.
7 Gauge Steel Construction
Every full-size Outlaw starts as heavy rolled 7 gauge steel, over 1,000 pounds of it. The chamber holds heat like a bank vault and shrugs off years of fire.
A Firebox Second To None.
Insulated Firebox
A 1/4 inch thick steel interior wrapped in 2 inches of ceramic insulation inside a 7 gauge skin, closed by a 3/8 inch door on solid hinges with a tapered latch. Build a fire once and it obeys.
Lock In Your Temps.
Precision Damper Control
An oversized intake damper with a spring loaded handle gives you fine-tune adjustments to keep your temps locked in, and the formed damper housing keeps wind from wrecking your fire.
Twist Off. Load Up.
Quick Detach Exhaust
The powder coated steel exhaust carries a fully machined damper assembly, and when the stack needs to come off for trailer loading, loosen the bolts a smidge and twist.
Ready For The Long Burn.
Fire Basket & Heavy Grates
Every pit includes an elevated fire basket with a solid rod bottom and floating expanded metal to keep your coal base burning hot, plus heavy rod smooth grates and a removable shelf in the chamber.
We Do Not Grind Our Welds.
Outlaw Craftsmanship
Every weld is left proud as a tribute to the skill and focus in every phase of the build. Machined stainless handles, glow in the dark Tel-Tru thermometers, and a 1,200 degree finish are standard on every Outlaw made.
Awesome smoker created by true Craftsman.
